February 2020 has come to an end and like each month the 100eyes team analyzes what happened in the crypto market. We will look at Bitcoin, altcoins, and some interesting averages.
What a crazy month it has been. The first two weeks of February were wonderful, the last two weeks were horrible. First some statistics. Bitcoin dropped 8.17% in February and was outperformed by 78% of altcoins. Altcoins actually gained 5.28% in dollar value on average.
Noticeable gainers this month were $HBAR (+164.57%) , $POWR (+134.59%), $KNC (+119.29%), $BQX (+87.32%), and $XTZ (+67.46%). Biggest losers were $ENG (-32.12%), $ETC (-34.37%), $XZC (-38.63%), $MDA (-39.00%), and $GO (-43.00%).
